Who we are

Ready State Studios is an independent games studio based in the UK. You can contact us at legal@readystatestudios.com.

Using the website

You're welcome to browse and share the site. Please don't:

• try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it
• copy the site's design, text or artwork for your own site or project
• use the site in any way that's unlawful or harms other people

Our add-ons

Our add-ons, and everything in them (models, textures, sounds, code and artwork), belong to Ready State Studios. When you download one, we give you a personal licence to use it. You're not buying ownership of it.

You can:

• use our add-ons in your own Minecraft Bedrock worlds, and on Realms and servers you run
• play with friends using them
• make videos, streams and screenshots featuring them, including monetised ones, as long as you link to the official download page

You can't:

• re-upload or share our add-on files anywhere else, including other download sites
• sell our add-ons or include them in anything you sell
• take assets or code from them for your own projects
• claim our work as your own or remove our credits

If you'd like to do something not listed here, such as using an add-on on a public server network or in a collaboration, email us first.

Downloads from other sites

Our add-ons are downloaded from third-party sites such as CurseForge and MCPEDL. Their own terms apply to using those sites, and we're not responsible for how they run.

Paid add-ons

If we sell an add-on, the price and what's included will be shown before you buy, and payment is handled by the site you buy it through. Refunds follow that site's policy. This doesn't affect your legal rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if digital content is faulty.

Minecraft

Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios. Our add-ons aren't official Minecraft products and aren't approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. To use them you need your own legitimate copy of Minecraft Bedrock Edition and must follow the Minecraft End User Licence Agreement.

Updates and compatibility

We work to keep our add-ons working with new Minecraft versions and to fix problems players report, but we can't guarantee every add-on will work with every Minecraft version, device or other add-on. Always back up your world before adding or updating an add-on.

Our responsibility to you

We provide the site and our add-ons with reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, or for problems caused by other add-ons, third-party sites or changes Mojang makes to Minecraft. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Reporting copied or stolen add-ons

If you find our add-ons re-uploaded somewhere they shouldn't be, please let us know at legal@readystatestudios.com.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we release paid add-ons. We'll change the date at the top when we do. The version on this page when you use the site or download an add-on is the one that applies.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
